Blu-ray to PS3 is a shareware Blu-ray converter and burner. It can be used to convert your Blu-ray discs and create copies of them or to burn a new Blu-ray movie from an ISO image or any folder with an AVCHD structure. The app also lets you rip blu-rays and save them as video files. The supported formats are H.264 and MPEG-4.
Using this app is very easy. All you have to do is insert the Blu-ray movie or load an AVHCD structure, choose the audio and subtitle tracks that you want to use and start the process. The app has a feature called Quality Control which automatically chooses what the best conversion settings are for your movie. The app also selects the files that need to be converted automatically so you don't have to browse a long list of files and lose time doing that. Blu-ray to PS3 is CUDA optimized. CUDA is a GPU by Nvidia, and by using it, your conversions will be considerably faster.
I like the fact that you can burn your files to a Blu-ray disc after you are done converting them. If you are not looking to backup your movies, then I don't think you actually need this app. The PS3 supports Blu-ray discs just fine, so you probably don't need to rip them unless you also want to play the files on other devices that support the H.264 or MPEG-4 formats.
